Blake looks like a tool in this video
He tries to undercut the other dude and then gets offended.

blake was trying to box out...not undercut.
but yeah, he definitely overreacted to getting an inadvertent elbow in the face.

i realize i'm trying to judge intent on video,
but it sure looks like he tries to slide under once the other dude leaves his feet.

There was no reason Blake would think he'd leave his feet from 10 feet away.
And no running start. Plus, he wasn’t even looking at him, just feeling for where he goes and trying to keep a body on him. Nobody looks at a guy when they’re boxing out.
The Dos Equis guy lives life like Chip Kelly calls plays.
I hate it when a minor chippy play like that turns into a fight
Major overreaction by both.
That other guy acts like a real Garnett. He backpedals from Blake when it’s just the 2 of them, but when someone comes over and holds him back he’s suddenly trying his hardest to go at Blake.
he backpedals right after popping blake and nearly knocking him out.
i like it here, there, everywhere.
Ha! Almost knocking him out?
Watch it again. The fella with his shirt off tried to tangle Blake up right after the punch, and he lost his footing. Nobody scrambles like that if the just got their bell rung.

this is my new favorite Blake moment
common, he wasn’t THAT memorable…
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I think the chair throwing during practice was one of Blake's shining moments.

I'm beginning to miss the guy

Easy to forget that we didn't see the whole game
Most likely there were a bunch of cheap shots and talking smack before the video. It’s rarely anything big when scuffles like these start. Kind of funny that both were literally boxing though.

I'll give credit....
…to everyone else. Usually an altercation like this can become a lot more ugly. But everyone seemed to step in and diffuse the situation as opposed to escalate it. The fact that it didn’t escalate suggests to me that the bad vibes were specifically between Blake and Gilchrist.
Having not watched the entire scrimmage, and having no context except this short clip, I’d just say, kudos to everyones teammates and it appears to me everyone at this point looks tired. This is when coaches should give everyone a break. The whole scrimmage just looks like a fight waiting to happen.
"Mother Nature started this fight, I think it's about time we ended it!"
Impressive defense, as usual.
