Does it really make sense for a business like the NBA to shut out its workers that depend on huge payrolls and allow them to go to competing international companies. Essentially that is what they are doing. Why would the players worry about a lockout if they can go over seas and get paid. It's not like the last strike where the players sit and lost money. Owners need to wake up now and move this forward before they lose them to international teams. Who knows we may have to watch basketball at wierd times soon. It's so hard for me to believe that these owners are not making money. They have the greatest athletes in the world and they are forcing them to go elsewhere. I guess that David Stern anticipated this. Just doesn't seem like a sound busienss decision.
