Patty Mills vs Tony Parker and Nic Batum in London test match!
Tonight, Patty Mills and the Boomers will be taking on the French National Basketball team, which entirely consists of NBA-caliber players such as Joakim Noah, Tony Parker, Nic Batum, Ronny Turiaf, Boris Diaw and many more. With Patty Mills being one of Australia's best players (thus getting a huge amount of minutes), we will finally see what Patty Mills has to offer--his 'true potential'.
I for one can't wait to see Patty Mills battle it out with Tony Parker, who is widely considered one of the NBA's best point guards and is a former 'Finals MVP'. So far, Mill's international individual record has been very consistent over the last few years, as evidenced by his outstanding performance at the Beijing Olympics (For all those who didn't watch the Beijing Olympics, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5zfDNT4A8Y). This is Patty's one chance to once again prove that he is worthy enough to play in the NBA and will likely affect his chances of being signed in the next season.
My predicted stats for each individual players:
Patty Mills: 23 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists.
Nic Batum: 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block.
Tony Parker: 19 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists.
Predicted Outcome: France wins by 7 points.
Don't forget to cheer on your Blazers' players!

Wake me when the game is on.
Bit generous for Patty, 13 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists I reckon. He had a 32 point game against Argentina last year though so who knows.
Parker Out Played Mills as expected, but not by that much
Games stats: http://london2012.fiba.com//pages/eng/fe/12/olym/p/eid/6232/gid/5/grid/A/rid/8549/sid/6232/game.html
Neither had a big assist night, each with one and high t/o’s. Mills 4….Parker 3.
Parker shot a better % from the field, but Mills was better from the line.
I have a feeling that Mills will end up well in Europe or the NBA even if the Blazers can’t use him.
Austrailia (and Patty) had a nice showing
if they had Batum with Patty they probably would have won.
Wake me when the game is on.
I agree !!!
The Blazers were well represented in the game.
Best thing about this-
Batum shot 14 foul shots, Parker shot 16, only 2 more! He didn’t shoot a lot of fg but I would love to see Batum go to the line more for the Blazers. Sounds like he’s more aggressive though, which I feel he often is when playing internationally. Bring it here Batum!

![Extra, extra, read all about it: Steve Nash had an epiphany during off-season, announces immediate retirement to start new career as a mean hockey player for the Phoenix RoadRunners. "I realized I always admired Wayne Gretzky growing up. Hey, I'm Canadian. Larry O'Brien Trophy? Phew. Why should I care about winning an NBA title when I can win a Stanley Cup in like five years?"
Terry Porter in an initial reaction: Of course we were shocked when we saw Steve come in today in a hockey jersey to announce his decision. The Big Cactus was sobbing. It will be tough, but we will get over it. He is such a great human being who has done so much for this ball club that it would be cruel to stop him from fulfilling his childhood dream. I'm confident Goran Dragic can start just as well for us. [Pausing] You don't happen to have Marbury's number? Or maybe Tinsley's? Can somebody please stop that whiner Kerr from screaming 'I knew it, we are toast'?
In other news, Boris Diaw now looks, uhm, different.
And Shaq has a new goofy sidekick.](http://cdn1.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/16931/mediaday08_bg_nash_runners_small.jpg)
