Galletti: Blazers G Brandon Roy Was No. 6 Most Overpaid Player In NBA

52

In an interesting analysis on Wages of Wins, Arturo Galletti writes that Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy was the No. 6 most overpaid player in the NBA during the 2010-2011 season. Roy trailed only Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd, Toronto Raptors big man Andrea Bargnani, Houston Rockets center Yao Ming, Orlando Magic guard Gilbert Arenas and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison. On the flip side, Blazers forward Nicolas Batum rated No. 29 on the list of the NBA's most underpaid players. As a team, the Blazers ranked No. 11 in terms of producing wins from the money spent on payroll. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
