Haynes: Blazers G Armon Johnson Interview

15
Chris Haynes of ProBasketballNews.com has a nice interview with Portland Trail Blazers guard Armon Johnson. The topics include his thoughts on next season and the selection of Duke point guard Nolan Smith with the team's first round pick in the 2011 NBA Draft... --------------------- "If you look at where we took the Dallas Mavericks...we played them pretty well and we didn't even have the pieces that we're going to have next year," Johnson told PBN. "Gerald (Wallace) is a big help for us and LaMarcus (Aldridge) is coming into his own, which shows the sky is the limit for the Blazers." "I think Nolan was the best draft pick we could have got at that point in time," said Johnson. "I was surprised he didn't go earlier. That gives us three or four strong point guards." --------------------- -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
