I am a huge Blazer fan, having typed that, I must say that Portland Trail Blazer fans think too highly of our players, we have some great players, but when it comes to trade talks, Blazer fans assume that we're not getting the better deal at the end of the day. I heard so many fans get upset when we traded Joel and Dante for Wallace, people were upset that we actually traded some fan favorites. Here is a Blazer fan trade proposal...

Wesley Matthews

Portland recieves:

Derek Rose or Chris Paul or Rondo

and then all they argue about is how its a fair trade because the salaries match up. That is just lame.

If Portland even whispers that Batum is on the trading block, Blazer fans demand that the trade involves a SUPERSTAR, when Batum is not even an allstar.

I remember a few seasons ago when Rudy was the league leading 3pt shooter and the fans loved him, but towards the end of this past season, all fans threw Rudy under the bus and said good riddance when we traded him to Dallas.

Mark my words, Batum will never be an allstar, he will never be as good as Scottie Pippen and if any team out there wants Batum involved in a trade, I say deal.

Again, I love the Blazers, but at the end of the day, its business
