I was in denial until I visited nba.com at 9:05

Well at least the NFL plays on sunday, monday and thursdays now, oh wait. Well, huh. MLB playoffs maybe, oh wait, baseball was before and now even worse everyone is off steroids. college football is basically just on saturdays with an occasional week night game between two terrible teams with craig james and the guy from the bachelor trying to convince you that both teams are relevant. Maybe I can catch some early season college basketball that doesn’t mean anything until february because the ncaa lets a million teams in the tournament now and even if you have a terrible start a hot february gets you in at a good seed. I guess the good news is that I’ll have an amazing GPA for fall term

agreed

with the caveat, that there is a lot of drama in a pitcher going for a no-hitter/perfect game, which seems to happen a lot more now a days. :)

Yeah and even if a pitcher is an absolute beast, you only get to see him twice in a playoff series, three times if it goes 7.

And even in the games you see him play you only get to watch him pitch 3-5 batters at a time and usually for only 7 innings. So basically since MLB went from every team having 2 power hitters to each division having two power hitters the best players play about 30% of the season. And they wonder why baseball ratings keep falling and they will keep falling until they bring back roids or start corking bats

IMO Steroids basically saved baseball after their lockout

the Sosa/McGuire home run chase was a thing of glory, ditto for the subsequent Bond’s record chases.

Who’da thunk that baseball without sluggers would be boring? lol

Don't forget about the bash brothers.

What baffles me about the steroid era is I thought that everyone pretty much knew players were juicing. Remember the size of the players in the 90s, they looked like mutants. baseball went from small framed athletic players to superman over night. Reggie Jackson, hank aaron and ted williams were the size of ball boys for the 90s era

Felton will make a lot of people have selective memory on their reaction to draft night
Raymond Felton's job requires him to where a sleeveless shirt in front of thousands of people; it should not be this hard to determine whether or not he is fat.
