Miami Heat's James Jones to be Free Agent

I'd love to see Jones back in Portland, basically he is what we're hoping Diebler may someday develop into.

IF we think that Oden's going to be able to play next year

AND we’re not planning on using the amnesty on Roy, we should go for it all next year.

trade Matthews, Babbit, Mills and future pick for Millsap and Bell, split MLE on Jones and Howard.

Felton/Smith/Johnson
Roy/Bell/Williams
Wallace/Batum/Jones
Aldridge/Millsap/Howard
Oden/Camby/Johnson

Lots of diverse ages, skills, experience. Lots of depth to combat injury problems too. Every player would likely get significant time at some point or another (besides the Johnson’s) but they’d be picking up experience from all the vets.

I wouldn't mind bringing him back.

We need his shooting and i’m guessing he won’t cost a fortune. But then would he really wanna come in as the 3rd string SF? Crashbatumacoot have that position locked down

Hes entering free agency! We dont have to make a trade to get James Jones! and dont even mention howards name! He is the reason we lost in the playoffs to the suns!

For sure, you can drag back out that old W-A-L-L-A-C-E Blazers jersey you confiscated from your kid a few years ago. The thing takes on a new meaning today.
