I think Raymond Felton and Nolan Smith will work out great for Portland and Bismack will be a bust. I could show you my line of reasoning, but in the end, I cannot be proven correct or incorrect until games have played; the same is said over anyone's feeling about the draft. I might say they got and F because the suck, or and A because they're awesome, but you can't be right until games are played.
So I decided to make this thread--a thread for everyone to put their predictions about Rayond Felton, Nolan Smith, John Dielber or any other rookie. That way, after games have been played, one can link up to this as say "I told you so."
Arguing with someone over whether Bismack will have a decent career, while fun, is very futile. We all talk (or type) like we know exactly how it will all play out, and those who disagree are ill informed people in deniel. Storyteller recently had a FanPost for people to admit where they were wrong--it seems to me that we were wrong quite a lot. Therefore, I don't think any one of us can truly say Whether or not Raymond Felton will work out or not, we will just have to wait. As of right now, the draft grades are pointless excercises in futility.
Here is my official prediction:
Raymond Felton will be decent in his first couple of months here, but take it to the next level in March, also when Greg starts to find his groove. Felton and Oden then become a forbidable pick and roll combo.
Nolan Smith will win the backup 1 spot, and give 15 solid minutes a night.
Dieble won't play much this year.
Bismack will spend more time the in the D league than the NBA this year.
What are yours, and remember, this is on the record.
