Felton is a good trade.

I don't understand the hate for Felton. I mean we were close to harris (don't you say he's better!) and Jameer Nelson for christ! I was a huge miller fan and watched him 10 or more times in the RG kill it with dishes and shots but he is getting old and not our future.

I've also been a secret knicks fan and loved feltons game in NY. He can run and hit the 3. He can dish with the best. I've watched him for a few years, and Blazers fans will get behind him when they see him. He can spread the floor now with LA. Even if Dave is Debbie Downer about the trade, I say it was good for us. We got younger and more athletic. Felton, mathews, wallace, LA, camby (oden eventually). Roy and batum off the bench. Good team. I like it. Well see.

I think there is a possibility that Felton took a legit step forward last year

He still has something to prove, but if last year was a legit step forward and not just a “system” thing, I think we got a pretty good player. I hope he keeps working on his shooting, etc. but I think this was a decent gamble. We had to use Andre’s contract while we could.

agreed. thanks for the non-pretentious (so far) responses to my first post. not CP3, but we weren’t gonna get an all-star without gutting our core this year.

felton is realistic and can contribute now. And as blazerd stated we had to use andre's contract while we could.

blazer fans were talking about getting the pgotf for way to long. We dont need a chris paul, or a deron williams to take us to the promise land. I think felton can be our pg for the next 4-6 years, and thats all we need.

Frankly the whole true PG idea is getting overrated in todays game. Look at who keeps winning the championships… not Paul, not Williams… it’s OLD Kidd, scoring Parker, role player Fisher, scoring Billups, role player Harper. The exception is one championship w/ Rondo. Rose is a Scoring PG… Westbrook is a scoring PG. What wins are players who can shoot and players who can defend. Felton/Miller will not determine whether we win a championship. Roy, LMA, and Oden will. This is the gravy train we rode in on and the train we will crash/fly on.
