Did we really just get SHORTER and LIGHTER?
We traded the following:
Rudy Fernandez (6'6" 172#)
Petteri Koponen (6'5" 194#)
Andre Miller (6'2" 200#)
Rights to #26 pick Jordan Hamilton (6' 8.5" 228#)
Average height 6' 5.375"
Average weight 198.5#
For:
Raymond Felton (6'0.25" 199#)
and drafted:
Nolan Smith (6'3.5" 188#)
and drafted but will cut:
Jon Diebler (6'6" 200#)
Average height 6' 3.25"
Average weight: 195.7#
Did this really happen? Am I living in bizarro world?

I'm having a hard time with how blazer fans aren't behind this trade...

Here's why
We could have drafted Faried at #21
Made the Rudy deal and got Hamilton at #26
Bought an early 2nd round pick and taken Smith at #35 or whatever
Held onto Dre until the trade deadline
Then traded him to Denver for Felton straight up
(or as a package deal with Batum and/or Camby’s EC for an all-star caliber guard)

If not Smith at 35 they could have got him at 26
Draft Faried stright up and trade Rudy for Smith
but the main deal was really for Felton. I dont think we could have held the 26 pick
denver didnt want a straight trade thus we had to give up rudy for pick. faried isnt some proven talent, the guy can rebound at a lower level college this trade still looks good. we still need a back up PF, but it’s not like were screwed cause we didnt get faried. Also no way smith hung around till 35.
