Draft Day Mega Junk Drawer
Uhhh. like I never started a junk drawer before... but with so many crazy posts happening to day, its hard to post and repost on each one. So what do you say we post anything and everything Draft related here so that we dont push out posts before they get a chance to let people see them.
So this drawer could have any draft related links, trade scenarios, or ideas or feelings you might want to get out about our picks. Anything draft related put it here. And remember, keep it clean-no swearing and also keep it cool. Be nice to each other and have fun. Its a big day!! Draft Day 2011!!
See ya down below.
Peace,
CaveJunctionBlazer

How about this?
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine
^ ^^First try and get this trade done^^ ^
Then draft Kenneth faried and trade andre miller for kemba walker (However they can get that done).
Finally, go after robin lopez (or another good backup/starting center), or buy a draft pick to get Jeremy tyler or Nikola Vucevic
What do you think?
I think you link just goes to trade machine :)

Salaries are off, therefore the + and – don’t work.

I got the news about Bin Laden's death from baseball.
I had missed a basketball game, and was waiting for Sportscenter to come on, and the most boring baseball game in a rich tradition of boring baseball games had entered the 14th inning with the score tied at 1. It was the Phillies vs. the Mets in an epic suck-a-thon that pushed Sportscenter further and further back with each failed inning. Just when I was about to give up and turn to the Internet, a chant swept through the crowd…

Sounds like urban legend.
There has never been a boring 1-1 game in the 14th inning in the history of baseball.
"Anybody might guess beforehand that there would be blunders of the ignorant. What nobody could have guessed, what nobody could have dreamed of in a nightmare, what no morbid mortal imagination could ever have dared to imagine, was the mistakes of the well-informed." - G. K. Obviously I'm not cut out to be a baseball fan.
But even the announcers were fed up. It was 1AM on the east coast, and they just wanted to go home. One, a former player, was totally disgusted.

Rambis never stood a chance tho when you treat your most marketable player like crap and misuse him half the time.

Aaron Brooks?
Anyone? He has scored 20ppg(we need someone to pick up the scoring load now that Roy is injured) in a season before. We need speed, quickness & 3pt shooting – those describe AB perfectly. Some may think he is a chucker like Brandon Jennings, but he is so much better if you consider Brooks playoff performances that year against the Blazers & then the Lakers, he shot at a very respectable clip – especially for a player shouldering a lot of the scoring load.
After Yao got hurt he was literally the only option. I like him as a sparkplug off the bench for us, whether that be behind Andre or Hinrich(who could be available now for Dre in a cap saving move by ATL). After a down/injured year, the price could be right for Brooks to become a Blazer.
Get it done... Paul.
i have always liked brooks
he lit us up a few years ago in the playoffs. i saw it with my own eyes in portland. luckily we won the game i went to.

Get out of Joel's way or he will eat your freaking face!
i like sessions for sure but I think something is wrong with trade machine
because the salaries arent close.
by cavejunctionblazer on Jun 22, 2011 7:08 PM PDT up reply actions
Yeah
Though I would really like to see him in a blazers uniform. That and with Irving going to the Cavs and them already having Baron Davis I think he would be a lot more expendable.
Get out of Joel's way or he will eat your freaking face!
I think maybe...
Draft Faried, Acquire Ramon sessions from the cavs and pick up Joel again. Get Oden healthy our team would be alot better off.
Get out of Joel's way or he will eat your freaking face!
I need someone to top this one (not my idea, but I like it)
Baron Davis, Varejao and the number 4 pick for Batum, Miller, Camby and the 21st pick.
We could take a big or try for PGotF with the number 4 pick. We’d have a great compliment to Aldridge in the post in Varejao and hopefully Baron Davis would play half way decent on a winning team with a great crowd (that seems to be his M.O.)
For Cleveland, they shed a ton of long term salary heading into the new CBA and get a young, cheap, starting small forward which they definitely need. Plus, they make room for Irving by trading Davis.
Obviously, you try to hold onto Batum if you can, but they would definitely ask for him. Maybe keep pick 21 if you can’t keep Batum in the trade.
YMMV, depending on how much you like or don’t like Davis and how highly you value Batum
#52
I'm iffy on it cos I do have iffyness on Davis
But I might still do this.
man I hope the trade speculation goes down after today.
lol, there have been so many bad ideas going around.
