It's funny when people say punctuations like that, ellipsis

It's doubly funny that in trying to be emphatic, he committed a grammatical error.!

What was he thinking. Question mark, exclamation point, question mark, exclamation point.

Exactly what I was thinking.

This is the kind of stuff they say just before guys ARE traded.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Oh no

What if it’s Oden, Miller and Batum for Nash and Gortat?…

actually that might not be a bad deal…but it still doesn’t solve Portland’s PG issues

by Eric Loftin on Jun 22, 2011 3:29 PM PDT up reply actions

Wow. I don't know.

I could see it both ways. Gortat playing 82 games >>>>> Oden on the bench in a suit. BUT if Oden can come back somewhat healthy Oden >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gortat. But that is the big if in the whole thing.

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Honestly I would make this trade.

Though hopefully I would include Rudy instead of Batum. Nash still has a few years, and Gortat is an excellent rebounder. We could then worry about shoring up our bench and finding an appropriate starting SG.

lol dot dot dot

no surprises here comma but they don apostrophe t mention Aaron Brooks at all period

by Eric Loftin on Jun 22, 2011 3:13 PM PDT reply actions

I'm sure he'll say whatever he thinks he needs to raise the value of Nash

The Suns aren’t going anywhere fast the way they are built, and they would be foolish to not cash in on what Steve Nash could potentially net them.

Can I buy you a fish sandwich?

by silkybrown on Jun 22, 2011 3:13 PM PDT reply actions

You're likely right.

Though, there is certain value in terms of fan attendance to let him finish out his career in PHX, and the Suns aren’t shy about being money-centric.

I think this is the case

Since they let Amare go, Nash is the only one left to sell tickets. They’re so far away from being a contender, with front office and coaching issues still in play, they might as well just ride Nash into the sunset, and look to rebuild through the draft with the new CBA in place.

by superfly05 on Jun 22, 2011 6:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Maybe,

but perhaps they think the trade deadline is their best option.

by damonrayhymer on Jun 22, 2011 7:11 PM PDT up reply actions

Maybe Nash has a health problem colon not that I'm saying his health is his colon

it could just be a little health problem semi-colon crikey now I need to knock it off full-stop

thank goodness

maybe we can all stop talking about going from an old PG to an even OLDER PG

lol

He’d be decent off the bench wouldn’t he?

by Eric Loftin on Jun 22, 2011 3:27 PM PDT up reply actions

he also looks like a camel

and isn’t anything more than ok. rather grab a better big in free agency.
off the bench, yeah fine.

by YoniRap on Jun 22, 2011 5:03 PM PDT up reply actions

I suppose.

I’ve just never been that impressed with him. In spot minutes he would be serviceable. He gives up so much on offense it’s hard to be ok with him. I dunno, I would rather have Faried.

So they're looking to move Gortat and Nash before the trade deadline

My boss walked in at about 11 this morning

saying “Suns traded Nash to Minnesota for the 2nd pick! Can you believe it?!”

For about 2 mins there, I was stymied. Then I found this blurb on BSotS.

Q: "Why are the Heat losing?"
'Dre: "That's for them to figure out. We did our job."

fine. then we're not trading Patty Mills. So there!
