Bring Chris Paul to Portland!

What do you all think about this trade, sending Andre Miller, Rudy Fernandez, and Wesley Matthews to New Orleans for Chris Paul? I love what CP3 would bring to this team, youth, smartness, Basketball IQ, and we get rid of Andre Miller's ugly contract and Rudy's all-around garbage game. But I don't like giving up Wesley, but I wouldn't mind if we got CP3 instead.

What’s funny with these now is that when people post them it’s like a profound idea explained, like “oh hey I have a great idea, we need a PG, LETS GET CHRIS PAUL!!!!”

I hear that

and not to be overly negative, but who really cares about all this trade chatter? Whatever happens is going to happen, any “interesting trade idea” is a moot point, and I highly doubt any GM is checking out the online action to decide what to do.

I guess I’ve just reached my saturation point with all this stuff. And I guess I just appreciate the fact that I have a team that I like and enjoy rooting for, and don’t really care about he PGOTF or anything else concerning whats not actually happening right now.

Phew, that feels a little better. It’s obvious a fair amount of people like this kind of stuff, sorry, I just had to get it out somewhere other than muttering to myself in the living room as I peruse BE and my lady wonders whats wrong with me.

There is a Trade Drawer. There isn’t always one up, but since there is, could we move this discussion there? Otherwise the sidebar gets cluttered (especially this time of year) with fanposts containing trade machine links. And maybe yours really is new, exciting and something someone never thought of before. But even if that was the case, keeping the speculative discussion in one place is very helpful for the whole site.
