The Portland Trail Blazers are a team with some major decisions to make. Should they deal Batum? Should they pick up Miller's option? What should they do about Oden? Roy? A lot of questions to answer. The Blazers' top pick is 21. Now, in my opinion, it is obvious who they should draft with that pick. Kenneth Faried. I think that he is Aldridge's ideal backup.
This is not why I wrote this article though. Because I want Kenneth Faried with the 21st pick, I thought that the Blazers could get Chicago's 28th pick, probably just for some cash. The player I target with that pick, Kyle Singler. He, in my opinion is one of the more underrated players in this draft. He was one of the best players on Duke, which is in a tough conference, he played under a great coach also. You may think that we are already set at the SF spot, but there is a good chance that Wallace or Batum could be shipped out if it means getting a good player in return. Singler would be an adequate backup who plays aggressively at both ends. Singler is a knock down shooter, who can create his own shot at times. He reminds me slightly of Mike Dunleavy Jr.
I think that Singler would be a great pickup for any team. What do you think?
