A lot of discussion has revolved around Nic Batum, trade bait, ceiling...whatever.

here is a discussion about why the Nic of today is a good fit for this team and shouldn't be moved unless they get a great deal.

Nic just Fits!

- Nic's personality fits as a bench player, in fact two of his best months statistically last season were after the Wallace trade.

- Nic is a better shooter and a comparable defender to Wallace, which makes him a great guy to bring in for Wallace at the 3 as a sub, or so Wallace can slide to the 4, or to play with Wallace at the 2 from time to time.

- As a defender and a decent shooter Nic fits very well with Brandon in the second unit.

Hopefully Nic will continue to improve...I just hope it is on this team.
