A nice video peice from ESPN Australia on a show called Aussies Abroad on Patty Mills. He takes the time to thank two4larue and AK1984 for all their support during the season which I thought was nice.

Benfti, it doesn't seem to work for me. Nothing happens when I click it.

does this link work?
Although it's not actually a link, I copied and pasted. I'm going to watch it now.

If you copy the link into the subject line it won't appear as a link.
You have to copy it into the message area.

Great video! I love Patty. People forget how young he is and how
little NBA experience he has. I’m afraid the Blazers will trade him away and regret it later. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve done it.

yep, thats why I can never understand it when people seem to think he doesnt have
the ability to improve his game, he is still very young and coming from a long way back, when you break it down he has improved a notable amount every year since collage. If he improves that level again he will end up a very solid backup.
I've heard it took Steve Nash 8 years to become an elite point guard.
People want instant gratification, I guess.

Hey Benfti!!! They are playing this video on Just Casey at the Blazers site as I type!

JJ Barea has the strength to defend bigger guards, in the post
Mills doesn’t
I wish Patty all the best in his future career, I still don’t think he is or will become a rotation player for an NBA team with final’s aspirations. As I hope Portland will be, at some point in the near future
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
who would win an arm-wrestling contest
between Mills and Fernandez?
Isn’t it interesting that the Blazer’s coaches, GM and scouts have been talking about how the team needs to acquire more speed in the backcourt? That’s hardly a ringing endorsement re: the current guards who are supposed to be known for their footspeed

Probably Mills, would do something that distracts Rudy
Its also interesting that the GM, Scouts and Coaches have all commented in the last week on what a good job Patty has done this season, and how hard he worked, and in that video , how he could work his way up to being a starter.
Its all relative two4, for every quote you can find dismissing Mills, i could probably find one that talks him up.
What it boils down to is you would rather the team trade for a 6’4 vet in his spot, and I think the team should show a bit more patience in general and develop guys like Mills and Johnson for a little longer to see how much scope for improvement they have.
The fact however that cannot be argued is that Mills is good for the team for more than just what he brings to the court, anyone who has ever played a team sport at a higher level understands that.
