In the greater scheme of things this  is minor , but  It struck me first during introductions,and again several times in Miami tonight again how much I can't stand to listen to the other teams arena announcers. Maybe its just because the fans here don't need to be encouraged to scream loud and continuously, but "lets go Heat" or the Dallas constant "Defense" from the announcers get just plain annoying to me. I can't even imagine being able to hear Mark Mason in an NBA finals game in the Rose Garden.

Speaking of Mark Mason,We only have quarter season tickets since we come over from Tillamook, but I enjoy him as the Rose Garden announcer. In , in my opinion, he does a great job of emphasizing the action during game without being obtrusive, Unlike most announcers you hear, His player introductions do a good job of drawing out the names without being so overboard you forget the first part of the name by the time he finishes.His practice of Introducing the foreign players in their own language is touch I thought was pretty cool since Sabonis.
