Tampering Week: Greg Oden
I was enjoyably browsing through the Tampering Week series on NetsAreScorching when a familiar top overall picks photo suddenly filled my screen.
Its a good read, but if you don't have time the author says Oden is only worth $5 or $6mil a year with some of that being conditionally guaranteed due to his health. Concludes Oden will get more than that this summer so the Nets should pass on him.

I will say this, Conley will probably earn his money this summer or next
because he will have his PT Barnum moment and find a team willing to give Oden Joakim Noah money based solely on “he’s big, and if he’s healthy his PER in the 4 of 82 games he played in the past 4 years without foul trouble was 28”. Wish that guy was helping me with my next exployment contract…
