Good Luck from Rockets Land
Blazer's Edge,
Here's good luck this coming playoffs from your friends in Houston, at The Dream Shake (or at least some of us).
As a team that has also had to deal with lots of injuries and kept going, we appreicate all you guys have been through, and are still kicking butt.
Picking up Wallace was a great piece to your team, and my fellow Longhorn, Aldridge, is playing very well this season.
Here is hoping Roy gets his confidence and stroke back and you make it at last to the Western Finals.
Yours truly,
John ...and many of us in Rockets Nation

They deserved it :)
but yeah, I think we would have smacked down the lakers as we were the krypto to them although refs do come into play…
"The game was delayed for over 15 minutes with 5:07 left in the second quarter after France's Nicolas Batum, who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers, dunked and twisted the rim. Volunteers and officials scrambled to put a new rim on the basket and reattach a net."

Thanks
Now if you could loan us Scola for the balance of the playoffs…
Whoa, if only we could borrow players from lotto teams for the playoffs
Lowry, Scola, Hayes, and K-Mart. All of our problems would be solved.
Phase 1: Collect underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!
Or maybe they could ride a Tandem-Exercise bike together...

they'd need a third seat for billy crystal
in the follow-up to the blockbuster smash movie titled “my giants”.
Q: "Why are the Heat losing?"

How very gracious of you. Thank you! I agree with Bustabucket and welcome
you to join us in our game day threads. They’re fun! I’m watching your guys beat up on the Clips as I type. Good job.
#52--------I believe in Greg Oden
Thank you!
It’s teams like yours that make me really consider the idea of throwing out the bottom seeds of the weaker conference and replace it with the snubs of the stronger conference. It’s just utterly ridiculous that you would be tied with the Knicks for 6th in the Eastern Conference, yet you won’t make the playoffs.
You have some great pieces moving forward, I hope you find a legit defensive big to replace Yao in the future.
And please, come join us in our game day threads, we love the support.

Class act. I've always liked the rockets since you gave drexler a ring
And I also tend to root for adelman teams
No one in the world can beat me at RBI baseball 3(nes).
Thanks Rocketeers!
Back at ya.
We may be sometime-rivals but are all captives of the same league system which routinely delivers championships to the same handful of mostly-huge-market teams. We have much more in common than we’re likely to realize in the furor of mid-season.
Some Blazer fans have similarly connected with Bobcats supporters, who inherited our beloved Dante Cunningham and Joel Przybilla in the trade for Gerald Wallace. Mind you, all this is easier to do with teams in The Other Conference. ;-)
It's hard to get any respect for a small market team, so thanks a lot!
Better luck, next season!
(Hopefully there is one)
Classy
I generally root for the rockets if they’re playing anyone but the blazers. Hard to not admire that team’s resiliance.

We appreciate that!
I’ll always have a special feeling about the Rockets since Clyde the Glide had t go there to finally get his ring. You guys have a classy operation and play hard, but clean.
Here’s wishing for better days ahead for y’all!
Gary
If you want us to do well
Beat the MAVS tonight so they dont end up in 2nd place after Kobe and CO. lose their next 2 games
For sure, you can drag back out that old W-A-L-L-A-C-E Blazers jersey you confiscated from your kid a few years ago. The thing takes on a new meaning today.

all on BE...
Thanks for the invite to join the game threads. I will try and make it one of these days.
I think between our two teams we have the most grit and determination of most of the teams in the league.
No two teams have gone through so much injuries to still be over 500 and in you guys case make the playoffs.
One question for you guys: Is Roy really done with his knees? He is/was a phenominal player and killed Houston in Nov 08 with a last second shot. That was awesome…I mean if hte Rockets hadn’t been on the receiving end.
Well, W. Mathews really helped step up and make up some of Roy’s production…and hopefully next season Yao and Oden can battle it out in the paint.
Most likely though…they will battle it out in the sauna.
Best of luck again
Thanks--a lot of us would say the same about the Rockets were our playoff positioning reversed
They’re one of my favorite non-Blazer teams. Lots of tough, smart players (Scola, Hayes, etc.). Too bad Yao’s hurt and Landry’s gone, but you still have a very nice, scrappy bunch—a squad that deserved to make the post season.
I still believe in Greg Oden. The Blazers' medical staff? Not so much.
I'd change my handle to "bringback'09," but I'm too lazy.
Thanks
Sadly I don’t think Roy will ever be Roy again and I pray nightly to the basketball gods that I’m wrong. They apparently hate me.
I think the blazers have a great chance of doing something in the play-offs minus a match against the lakers (meaning we’ll probably end up playing them first, darn it.). The team is decent, and it’ll really come down to coaching ability (past years I’d say it was more players).
So, we’ll see how things go.

I'm with John
as is most of TDS. There are a lot of Blazers fans there. Good luck, and beat the Mavs! Then the Lakers, then the Spurs/Thunder, then the East champ.
No pressure, though.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
