The T-Blazers need a PG and a big. They could really use a speedy guard with a shot. Kemba Walker would be a godsend but he moved up for good reason. You look at the rest of the PGs and while there is depth and talent there isn’t anyone that I would trade up for in the 1st. I like Mack if they cant get Faried. I don’t care if a PG is pure or a combo I’m interested in frame, range, rebounding, swagger, then overall talent. I would say Mack is the best fit in the late 1st round but I don’t think he is much better than Charles Jenkins and Jenkins can be had in the second round. Also I think any PG after Irving Knight, and Walker is a risk and Knight is still a project. So don’t take a point. Move up and get Faried. Faried adds pick and roll defense, shot blocking, rebounding, and transition. His post defense might translate too. More importantly he adds needed depth.
After Faried you have to ask yourself is it worth it to shoot the moon for Selby? Selby might be worth a 2nd round ching$$$ching Paul Allen style. Selby is a nice project for a 2nd rounder. He could be pretty good in a few years. People will wonder why he slipped. Then I say draft Jenkins. He has the frame the range the rebounding and the swagger.
