An Ex-Blazer who is doing well?
I was looking at the score for the Nets Raptors game going on and I noticed Travis Outlaw was taking over in the 4th. And By 4th I mean 3rd overtime! He scored 8 points in the last overtime to win the game for the nets. good to see an old blazer doing well. Sometimes it looks like leaving the blazers signals the end for some players. Also Bayless was playing as well, but not that well.
P.S. He is still over payed

I haven't been over there in a while...
but I don’t think Nets fans have much love for him, even after his “tah dah!” games.

Trout will always be a Blazer
You guys know itz true.
Practices of the unscrupulous money changers stand indicted in the court of public opinion, rejected by the hearts and minds of men... They know only the rules of a generation of self-seekers. They have no vision, and when there is no vision the people perish.
FDR
That would be quite a commute to and from the Nets' games.
Porter, Drexler, Kersey, Williams, Duckworth. The greatest starting 5 ever.
except when the nets play at the Blazers
that day is when living here would be worth it

He's playing more minutes per game and getting more starts this year than ever.
However, this is his weakest season in the league where he’s actually gotten minutes. His usage is down, but his efficiency has also dropped. His true shooting percentage is 47.3% for the season, which is the worst since his rookie season. His defense has also been bad even for him this season. His steal and block rates are by far his lowest, and the team does 5.9 points per 100 possessions better on defense when he isn’t in the game. It’s also the worst offensive rebounding year of his career.
Outlaw would actually be another case of a player doing a lot worse after leaving the Blazers.
he could be again,
if there is an amnesty, trout could be bought out by nets, just like we buy out broy.
Zach Randolph hit a pretty shot to beat the Mavs on Sunday.
20 and 10 on a good Memphis team that’s making a playoff push.
Also, it’s good to see Channing make a solid contribution in phx.
Josh McRoberts also seeing some playing time.
Yes, Z-Bo has been very good and rightfully had a gripe for not making the AS game this year.
Although, this isn’t what most Blazer fans want to hear due to his tie-ins with the dark times.
The cake was a lie.
Very few ex-Blazers doing well
The list of recent ex-Blazers who are doing well is pretty short, probably only Zach Randolph. And I’m still glad that we got rid of him. All these guys that Nate was supposedly stifling under his iron fisted rule, just have not panned out under other coaches either. Telfair? Sergio? Jerryd? Travis? Martell? Dante? Jack? Sean Marks? Well, ok, may be not Sean Marks. But the reality is that these guys were never very good, they weren’t being stifled by Nate. They may be getting more playing time on other teams, but the lack of results speak for themselves. We should actually be blaming the GMs, Pritchard and Nash mostly, who drafted these duds, rather than Nate. And I am afraid to say that Babbitt and Armon are not going to be All stars if they are traded either.
Outlaw returns?
It would be interesting to see the guys who could get released under a proposed
amnesty clause in the new CBA. Outlaw might be one of those guys who gets
released and ends up signing with us for the veterans minimum.
Travis is so not needed
especially now that Wallace is here, and Patty has replaced Catfish as everybody’s best buddy
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
