Happy To Be a TrailBlazer Fan

I am writing in as a new member of the Portland fanbase. I am a former Sacramento Kings fan since, and since the outcome looks bleek for them to stay in Sacramento it is time for me to pick a new team. Now I do not consider this "bandwagon", but rather a fresh start since my team has quit on me!

I have always like Portland since the team has great character, and the fans seem to be respectful. Portland also has a great history of players that I remember Clyde Drexler, Arvydas Sabonis, Maurice Lucas (RIP), and even one of my favortie coachers Rick Adelman.

So I would like to say that I am happy to be here as a new fan, and I excited to see what the future holds for this franchise! Go Blazers!

ive had a soft spot in my heart for the Kings since Bibby and Webber almost got them to the promised land. those were fun teams to watch. very sad to see them go if that’s indeed what happens.

But to be honest, deep down I’d like to see you continue to be a Sacramento Kings fan. Moving the Kings to Anaheim is one of the most heartbreaking, bone-headed ideas I’ve seen in a long while. Yeah, it doesn’t look good, but don’t give up hope entirely!

If it happens though, it’s an honor to have former Kings fans rooting for the Blazers.

If your moving to Oregon, Wait till you get to join the ranks in the Rose Garden. Its a Epic feel inside the RG and its LOUD! There is no other place in the NBA that can measure to the Portland fan base. We are nasty! Red and Black!

I hope that you will not be so quick to dismiss the slim possibility that the Kings stay in Sacramento, the Kings are my second favorite team in the western conference and I wish them nothing but the best as an organization, but only if they stay in Sacramento. This move to Anaheim is sleazy and I honestly do not think it’s in their long term interest. Sacramento has proven that it supports the Kings when there is a half decent product out on the hardwood, and if the Kings are to move, I believe that Seattle would be the most optimal location. But alas, GO SACRAMENTO KINGS AND GO PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS.
