OT: Cavs beat LeBron and the Heat, 102-90
You know those games where the Blazers play down to an inferior team, and we're frustrated? Here's a reminder that it happens to every team! It couldn't happen to a more deserving team tonight. I swear the ecstatic Cleveland crowd was louder tonight than during the LeBron years.
This was the NBA TV game of the night, if it's on again later, it's fun to watch.

So awesome.
I heard they even gave Miami a free three points during the game to pad LBJ’s stats. And they still failed.
Quick, I bet we could flip LMA for Bosh right now. DO IT!

J.J. Hickson had a double double and 5 players had double digit points!
Bench Points: Cleveland – 32, Miami – 6

Even so, Miami is still a championship contender and Cleveland is still an utter wasteland/junkyard/dump.
So yeah, Cleveland’s enjoyment will be a short-lived celebration. Afterward, the folks there shall return to their cold, bitter reality.

That is not exactly true
Cleveland fans will relish this win for years.

You have a point,
but Cleveland just guaranteed LeBron’s team this year is not as good as LeBron’s team last year.

the Heat may be a contender for years to come
but they’re not on their way to 5 straight NBA titles
sum of the big 3 < the whole of it’s parts

You're just mad cuz the Heat
are making your “they’re gonna steamroll the NBA and win the next 17 championships” prediction look bad. ;)

True, I expected Miami would win 70+ games this season.
Though, at the same time, I thought that the Heat’s real troubles would be in the playoffs. Oddly enough, it appears the Heat might do the opposite of my expectations. Rather than steamroll through the regular season and flame out during the postseason, the Heat have instead had difficulty meshing throughout these first 74 games — with just 8 left to go — and, regardless those struggles, may still very well put it together when the big stage shines brightly upon them.
So yeah, this is one case wherein my prediction came up short.
