Blazers Beat Spurs Videos: Andre Miller Steal; Wesley Matthews Steal; Nicolas Batum Game-Winner
Here are videos from an incredible fourth-quarter finish that saw the Portland Trail Blazers improbably defeat the San Antonio Spurs, 98-96, thanks to a game-winning lob pass from Andre Miller to Nicolas Batum.
But, first, check out this opportunistic robbery by Andre Miller of Tony Parker in the open court.
Second, check out Wesley Matthews rip Manu Ginobili on a critical Spurs possession, setting up game-tying free throws by Batum.
Finally, here's the lob play from Miller to Batum that just beats the buzzer, securing the victory.

But not LMA's first near game loser at the FT line.
And I’m not tryin to be negative. Look , LaMarcus must feel so great right now, having dodged the goat bullet, and won too. Every Blazer will sleep good tonight. ’Cept Nate, who will be watchin film like the good coach he be (is)
Agreed
LaMazing is quite the 4th quarter choke artist at the line.
Love the guy, but facts are facts.
we can still win........

He needs to hang with Nico at the beach in the south of france.
and learn that peace of mind. Did you hear Nico’s post game interview? He said he felt no pressure makin those free throws, he tuned out the noise, and buried them shoots. two swishes. LMA was long on both his late FT’s , got to learn to control the adrenaline.
I think that Batum kid has a future in the league.
Just maybe.

That was before G3
Now you only trade Batum if its for a VERY legit PG or C.
Batum goes Billy Ray Bates style! Love it!
Since you’re already watching video, check out this one at the 0:49 mark and see if it reminds you of anything:

Andre just knew what had to happen
and then made it so. Incredible plays.
Sure it took some luck, but it took the vision and determination to even go for it, and the skill to succeed.
Jordan's not a bad guy.. he gave us Gerald Wallace.
It was a set play that they practice, says the Sarge...
given to him by one of his scouts, “Larry”….

Did you see Andre look the Defense off?
He was looking to Roy coming to the ball and only looked to the Alley Oop at the last second. Kind of like a QB Loking a Safety off of where he is really going to pass the ball

I really really enjoy seeing Andre smile
because you know that it’s probably true happiness. Man, I love seeing him smile.

Sounds kinda like "I REPENT!"
But then again sounds like that might not be what he said.

"It'll cooooount!!!"
They’re both saying it.
When the world knows Nico Batum as "The Inevitable", I'll be very happy with where he is as a player.

I still believe in #52. See you soon, Greg!
yea i think he was about to say something else,
but in his excitement he kind of mixed it together with “it’ll count.”
