honestly....
i don’t think it was done on purpose. he looked like he was about to run and chase after the loose ball…thus the swinging of the elbow back to begin the run. but saw that the blazers already had possession of it and had to stop and begin moving the opposite way. overall effect just makes for an awkward jolt forward with a large swing backwards.

who the hell throws their elbow
up that high to go and run? NO ONE! cuz the would look like a retarded chicken.
Definitely not by accident
Exactly
After the NBA suspended Andre fior running into Griffon, not acting on this non-call would amount to gross neglect.
Fine and suspension.

hmmmm.....
I disagree. Andre’s was intentional (unfortunate that it broke his streak, but he definitely knew what he was doing).
Also what’s the point of the blazers doing this? can’t un-break Dante’s face, and punishing the Cavs kinda feels like kicking a baby.
Justice must be served!!!
Seriously…looks pretty fishy to me. The guy almost dislocated his shoulder swinging his elbow back like that. It was also one elbow, his body weight didn’t shift on that foot when he threw the elbow. He didn’t explode forward.
It just doesn’t look right. I don’t think the guy meant to crack Dante’s eye socket but it does look like an over zealous version of the very common thrown elbow.
He is a rookie and I’d kind of feel bad if he got strung up for this but I totally understand the Blazer’s asking the NBA to look into it.
wasn't nothin intentional about that elbow
Come on, anyone who wants to be a homeristic whiner about this, go ahead and maybe have some French cheese with it too. But no way is the NBA office gonna say this was an intentional elbow.
Who is complaining anyway? Don Quixote? That dude oughta just go back to tilting at windmills.
Both teams played hard and ball don't lie. Rasheed is the Yogi Berra of hoops. We should start calling him Yogi Sheed.
Oh, so he was just reaching back for the last beer?

Unintentional
That elbow looked accidental to me. At most, he was trying to fend off Dante a bit, but did not mean to clock him upside the head with his elbow. I’m surprised the Blazers would ask for a review on this.
