Sac Town ROyalty Support
I have recently moved to the Sacramento area. They could really use our support right now. They are going through the painful process of possible losing their team. We should be nice to them and give them our support.
I still hope the blazers beat them on wednesday but we can be supportive of their struggle.

That would be PAINFUL to lose your NBA team.
I can certainly empathize. First Seattle, now maybe Sacto. Golden State’s the next closest team to Portland…are they next to fall?

GS isn't going anywhere, they fill the stadium on a regular basis even with their losing product on the floor.
And the Bay Area is the 6th largest metro area in the US. If anything, I could see the Warriors competing with the LA’s Chicago’s, Boston’s and Miami’s of the NBA in term of attracting marque free agents. The Bay Area is a beautiful place with much to offer from a business and culture standpoint, all they need to do is actually get a decent coach and a good front office, with their new owner, the Warriors might finally get out of the basement of the NBA. I say this with all the hate in the world for the Warriors, I don’t like the team and I don’t like the fans.
the sonics had pretty good attendance

And a pretty big metro area, to boot.
If I remember correctly, 13th largest TV market.
The cake was a lie.
Yeah, but they also got hijacked by an OKC native
It wasn’t really a business decision, they just wanted a team and found a way to get one.

worst lease in the league
if you can’t make money off the box seats you aren’t going to be making any money at all.
I love B Edge almost as much as I love B Roy and close to my love for B atum
I really hope Sacramento can get the stadium situation worked out.
It’s understandable from a business standpoint for the Maloofs to want to move the team from a small market that was hit incredibly hard by the economic meltdown. But Sacramento has proven that they have great, loyal devoted fans, and it would be heartbreaking to see Seattle part deux, a young team full of potential moves cities and the original city doesn’t get to enjoy the future success of the team.
empathizing
Hate to see this happen to ANY team. On one hand, it’s heartbreaking for the fans…on the other hand, (as the saying goes) it’s a business. Hopefully everything gets worked out and the owners don’t relocate.
I’m still upset about what happened to the Sonics….doesn’t seem like the Maloofs are trying to pull some slimy clay bennett / david stern robbery though
best of luck
If SAC goes down, I hope they go up...
to Seattle. I really don’t want to lose another team in the area. The Blazers have to travel enough as it is.
