(The Blazers trade gives) them the most terrifying front courts in the entire league.
Umm....we have a front court?
If our front court got any smaller, it would be a back court.

pass out the sedatives
After a long grueling season, teams won’t be hoping to draw Portland in the first round.
Wedge Geralds 15, 8, 2, and 2, plus a load of intangibles, into the box scores, and older slower teams will have pill bottles stashed in their socks. I’d not be surprised to see a conference finals with Oklahoma and Portland. You can double team size a lot easier than speed.
Except it looks like we'll get them in the first round. :(

maybe Dallas
if OKC keeps rising
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
not likey considering they just gave up their third scoring option for a defensive center who is going to be out for a month
No one in the world can beat me at RBI baseball 3(nes).
Dallas could wind up 3, Blazers could be 6
the teams are too closely packed to start playing 1st round matchup what if
I’d love to see the L*kers suffer a “little adversity” and then knock ‘em out in the first round, there would be nothing sweeter then to send P-Jack into retirement with a Blazer’s series win

If we get dallas
I’m sure we advance. We can defend 1-4 pretty well now…. And a very good interior help defense with canny
Who would of thought a few yrs ago that we would have lock down defenders in wes, batum, and Wallace… And LMA is one of the best PF defenders in the league….. Camby is not bad him self…. Rebounding should increase because of the misses that defense forces.

yep, without Butler Dallas is a bunch of jump shooters
we know how well that works in the playoffs

The group of Matthews, Batum, crash, Aldridge and Camby is a pretty tenacious group
Constant pressure on defense and in the paint. I see Wallace at a lot of power forward by Camby and Aldridge. Blazers experiment of small ball has been pretty successful lately. With Aldridge, Crash and Matthews attacking the rim, Roy and Rudy will have a field day in the perimeter. Sure it’s small, but look in the west right now and who has a scoring big that you need to throw a lot of bodies at?

true, Bynum doesn't scare me. They aren't going to feed him enough anyways
Aldridge and Camby can keep Gasol somewhat in check and you can guard Dirk with Wallace and Batum for stretches. Just saying there isn’t any bigs out there in the west that wreck havoc in the paint like STAT and Dwight. You could argue Aldridge as the west’s most dangerous paint scorer in the half court

lakers can get so big when they want to
odom at 3 , moving artest to the 2, kobe at point, and gasol and bynum taking space.
have to believe to win the west you need to get thru lakers
blazers can get big when healthy too

Wallace absolutely kills the Lakers.
There is no one who can guard him on that team. He’s a real nightmare for them.

We need a healthy Camby and we have a great shot against the L*kers
Now all we need is the rest of the roster to get into "how can everybody help Nicco and Oden" mode. -- Oden Mad, Oden Smash! Sep 29, 2010 7:47 PM
true, but they rarely go to that line up cause Odom has a hard time guarding slashers
