this seems like a perfect situation to be in. Batum is probably our most expendable rotation player at this point in that anything we get back for him would likely duplicate his production. When you consider what he brings on a nightly basis it doesn't seem hard to replicate. Streaky shooting/ defense/rebounding. And he is the most coveted player on our roster by other teams. Take Miller, Camby, Mathews off this team and we likely suffer, but Batums production is complimentary at best.  I believe we could get either Wallace or iggy if we made him available today and this team would be significantly better now and moving forward. Batums ceiling is probably Wallace/ iggy, but he will never have their motor. Even outside of those players, a return for batum will likely be more productive on the court than Batum, because for Batum to be included suggest a top quality player in return. I like Nic, but at this point he is far more of an asset in a trade than he is on the floor.
