Around SBN: Ryder Hesjedal Wins Giro d'Italia

JH proposes a whopper of a trade proposal. Looks kinda fun to be honest. From this article:

He doesn't mention it, but I bet Denver gets a few picks as well

At least one from us and one from Cleveland. Seriously, we get all that for pryz, fernandez, E. Will, and Marks. Clevelands even better, their two best players but bad contracts for both Martins and pryz.

I do like the flexibility it gives our frontcourt depending on the matchups. I’d say it makes us better both immediately and in the long run. We lose size sure, but it’s size that’s always hurt anyway. It forces us into small ball as well, but we can address that next year when Miller and Jamison’s contracts come off the books.

Portland could coast along with their superior talent and stay right with us. Now that Portland woke up, the hammer cometh down.

Will never happen

but it actually is kind of interesting. It still leaves us thin at C and we end up with some real locker room idiots though.

I wouldn’t mind Brooks as a back-up PG and if he finds his wings again he could eventually be more. It’s definitely interesting and it solves problems for all teams. Denver is going to lose Melo anyway.

Yeah. There's too many idiots there for my liking.

I guess Jamison isn’t bad, but I’m not really into inefficient stretch 4’s who looks like he lost a step.

The cake was a lie.

Don't want Birdman.

That’s probably one of the players I’d never want to see in a PDX uniform, mostly because his tattoos are so gaudy and unsightly.

Birdman and JR will never be Blazers

Phase 1: Collect underpants
Phase 2: ???
Phase 3: Profit!

I hope you're right.

The Chicken Nugget needs to stay in Denver.

Any fool can cause pain but spreading joy is a true accomplishment.

I completely agree with you

I would hate the Blazers and probably stop watching if they made this trade
