Berman: Blazers Still Interested In Knicks F Anthony Randolph?

67
Marc Berman of the New York Post reports that the Portland Trail Blazers may still be interested in New York Knicks forward Anthony Randolph, who has also been linked to the Minnesota Timberwolves in trade talks recently. ------------------------------ Even if Anthony Randolph is not dealt to Minnesota in a three-team trade, there still is optimism within the organization he will be traded by the Feb. 24 deadline, according to a league source. Besides the Timberwolves, the Blazers still have interest in Randolph. Portland has a spare center in Joel Pryzbilla , who could be of interest to the Knicks, or another first-round pick. Randolph's representatives have requested a trade, and the Knicks are trying to oblige the 21-year-old forward who had a miserable preseason and lost his minor role in the rotation in mid-November. ------------------------------ About a month ago, Chris Broussard of ESPN.com reported that the Blazers were one of a few teams looking at Randolph. About three weeks ago, Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reported that the Blazers had interest in Randolph. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
