Not trying to be a proponent or opponent to the trade. Or insensitive to the situation.
But seeing as Dallas is trying to acquire Vince Carter. Rudy might have been better off not complaining and staying.
Being a Blazer fan is not exactly healthy.
Rudy had his chances here..
If he was as good as some of us thought, he would’ve capitalized on his opportunities.
If I thought he could play like he did his rookie year, maybe
but I don’t think he could. No point in looking back. I’m excited to see what the new guys can do.
I thought Rudy would be the perfect 6th man. Come back Ruuudy!
Rudy squandered his opportunity against the Suns in the playoffs.
He had as good of a chance as he will ever get in that series and failed miserably. Somehow Rudy managed to stay on the roster and he seemingly deliberately tanked when he was in the game. I don’t want someone who willfully sabotages his teammates chance at winning on the team. Furthermore, I have no room for players who don’t play defense on my team unless that person is an offensive savant and shoots upwards of 40% from distance

Oh, I remember
Rudy appearing to be doing something on defense. I also remember Rudy pioneering the “matador defense” in Portland. I have seen a fair share of Real Madrid games during the lockout and besides the offense, saw nothing spectacular on defense against the flimsy competition over seas.

Pffffttttt!
Rudy is too much of a primadonna to play consistent, productive basketball for us…
He was ok in spurts but overall he was too much drama for too little output…
I don't give a damn for a man that can only spell a word one way.
