Off-topic, but has anybody been paying attention to the Arizona State/June Jones coaching mixup? Basically, ASU offered the head football coaching position to June Jones. He accepted the offer and his attorney was finishing up the final details with the school, all while June Jones told his current employer SMU that he was leaving for another school. He also told his assistant coaches to stop recruiting for SMU. Then, ASU reneged on their offer saying the process was "taking too long".
The man in the middle of the whole thing is none other than former Blazer's GM Steve Patterson, who is currently the ASU Chief Operating Officer. This is a huge public relations disaster for ASU, something Patterson is no stranger to.
