Dwight Howard and Chris Paul in L.A.? It's not a farfetched idea
Here are some highlights:
Orlando isn't as desperate to unload Howard and would ask for quite the return in a trade with the Lakers, wanting Andrew Bynum and Kobe Bryant, according to an official familiar with Orlando's thinking who was not authorized to speak publicly. He appeared to be joking. Maybe.
The Clippers could offer more than the Lakers, though the Clippers have not talked to Orlando. Clippers fans can thank Marko Jaric and the Minnesota Timberwolves for giving them incredible leverage in trade talks.

I don't know... I've said for a long time that the only thing I like better than watching Kobe play is watching Kobe lose.
Faith applied reasonably is practical magic.

Stealing a finals appearance(WIN!)
from Kobe & Dwights Lakers would be the perfect circle to losing against Shaq/Young Kobe.
I don't want to hate Dwight Howard though.
At least they hired Mike brown so I guess we’re safe from them winning a championship again.
the only thing I like better than watching CP3 play,
is watching all the fanatical, obsessive blazer fans who’ve been begging for CP to play for the Blazers, start to hate on him cause he’s a laker…I don’t know…there’s just something rewarding about that after all this time
I doubt Orlando would just let Howard walk
But, its not too far outta the question. They’re not gonna get anything in return for him that makes them an instant title contender. Bynum would be nice but even then they’re a team stuck in the middle with 1st and 2nd round exits for next few years. From their perspective, maybe its better to let him walk. Use the amnesty on Arenas n rebuild from scratch hoping to strike gold in draft again.
In my mind Howard is already a Laker. It’s just a matter of how and when. If Orlando isn’t willing to play ball then LA will have to find a way to dump salary by next year if they wanna sign him. Camby for Pau?
