That's not the worst part. He laughs about Roy being done for the "year".

I don't think that was laughing AT us.
Not like “heh heh, those guys are made o glass joe.” It was more of an incredulous laugh like, “the luck those guys have dealt with and I’m still worried about them kicking our butts?”
You gotta figure looking at history that the Clips announces have got to be a pretty shell shocked bunch. Like trauma survivors or prisoners of war. They’re conditioned against hope or optimism.
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice they're not.

Agree. Innocent comments and giving Blazers respect.
No bulletin board material here.

I know less than half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

The audio cuts out for a second there,
I think they were referring to Oden being out for the year, which isn’t true either, but less of a mistake I think.
Ralph Lawler and Mike Smith have always been class acts
No one in the world can beat me at RBI baseball 3(nes).
Their bench looked pretty bad tonight
4-0 is in sight.

Don't count you're chickens before they're hatched.
Unless you count them all. 66-0.

We’re going to sweep our way to a title too y’know.
I used to be a basketball player like you, then I took the Portland Trail Blazers' training staff to the knee.
If we can get DeAndre Jordan (who I assume will be guarding LA) into foul trouble....
it will be a long night for them. Chris Paul doesn’t seem fully acclimated with his teammates yet except for Jordan. And there bench, especially if Billups won’t be able to play, is terrible.
Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.
From Rotoworld
“Chauncey Billups (groin) is day-to-day, according to Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro.
Billups “tweaked” his groin during Wednesday’s game and (despite being called a game-time decision) he was limping in street clothes on Friday. “We want to be smart about it,” said Del Negro. “It’s a long season.” Groin injuries are very easy to aggravate, and it seems probable that Billups will sit out Sunday, giving him until Wednesday to recuperate."Source: Los Angeles Times

I'm gonna bring a sign to the l*ker game...
…something to the effect of “These tix were cheap, everyone would rather see the good LA team.”
