Jason Quick of The Oregonian reports that Portland Trail Blazers free agent center Greg Oden is set to get a medical review this week. ------------------------ Free agent Greg Oden will be in Vail, Colo. Thursday to have his left knee examined by Dr. Richard Steadman, who performed surgery last Nov. Oden's appointment is a normally scheduled exam. His camp, and Blazers doctors have been nothing but encouraged by his progress. There are some who are optimistic that Oden can be cleared for contact by Steadman on Thurs, meaning Oden would be able to join practices Agent Bill Duffy has received several calls about Oden, but says "At this point, I think Greg's heart is in Portland." ------------------------ Blazers president Larry Miller sure made it sound like Oden will be back in Portland during a media availability on Wednesday. -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
