Hacksaw-Wielding Thieves Steal Boy's Autographed Batum Sneaker

24
KPTV.com reports that hacksaw-wielding thieve stole a sneaker autographed by Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum from a 9-year-old boy. -------------------------- With the help of a hacksaw, thieves got into a northeast Portland home and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics and jewelry, in addition to a boy's autographed Nicolas Batum shoe. Police say the burglary happened sometime over Thanksgiving weekend in the 3700 block of Northeast 102nd Avenue while the family was out of town. "We even had a person watch our house while we were gone, but somehow they still slipped in when no one was looking," said homeowner Lisa Finkle. -------------------------- -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
