The Charlotte Bobcats, Toronto Raptors, Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets are the four teams in hottest pursuit of unrestricted free agent swingman Reggie Williams, according to a league source.

Update: Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports on Wednesday that Williams has a new final four...

New York, Portland, Charlotte and Detroit are the four finalists for Reggie Williams
-------------------------------
Williams had been a restricted free agent for the Golden State Warriors but the team rescinded his qualifying offer this past weekend so that they could make a 4-year, $43 million bid for Los Angeles Clippers restricted free agent DeAndre Jordan, which was matched. Williams should certainly be available for a portion of the mini Mid-Level Exception and acquiring him should not necessarily require the Blazers to waive guard Brandon Roy using the amnesty clause.
Williams, 25, played two seasons for the Warriors after working his way onto the roster from the D-League. He averaged 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 80 appearances last season. He is a score-first, score-second and score-third two guard with traditional size. Williams signed with Caja Laboral in Spain during the lockout but suffered a knee sprain and left the team.
A team source told Blazersedge on Monday that the team was pursuing a free agent signing at the two or four position.
