haha
The only person in Dallas who might object to this signing would be Rudy Fernandez, as he’d be forced to sit behind Brandon yet again. After years of complaining about minutes in Portland it would be poetic justice.
poor old Rudy. Is he even going to come back to the NBA?
I don't think so
he just got injured playing for Real Madrid & is being replaced by Kyle Signler. i bet he stays in Spain so no worries.
Can we just assume
That Brandon Roy is a Blazer unless news comes up?
I thought Rudy would be the perfect 6th man. Come back Ruuudy!

wait...
won’t basically none of these teams be able to sign amnesty players since they are over the cap?
Great to see Brandon be a key piece somewhere else
Brandon Roy will never be the player he was. So, in a Blazer uniform, he can only be a player in decline. In a new uniform with a different role and set of expectations, Brandon can be a catalyst in crunch time, a closer at the end of games, a strategically used player who performs heroically taking a good team and making them great. I’d love to see him flourish… Brandon is a great guy who’s meant so much to the Blazers—I will thank him for his contribution by rooting for him to succeed on another team, because here he will always be less than he was.
