To Jamal Crawford that is...

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, free agency hasn't even started yet,
but I don't think Crawford pushes this team over the hump.

Great NW story, and a good player.  But not the piece that finishes the puzzle.

As built today, the team needs real depth at the 4 & or 5.
Keep in mind that the team has Matthews, Batum, Smith, and EWill available for minutes
at the 2 (if Roy is amnestied).

With Wallace taking the bulk of the minutes at the 3
Nic will NEED minutes at the 2 to continue his development
(Wallace will play a little 4 but not enough to get Nic 30 minutes
a night, which is what he needs).

Signing Crawford would reduce Nic's role as well as keep Ewill
on the bench, at which point you should probably trade both...either use them,
see what they can do or move the heck on and get some draft picks.

Further, he isn't that great a shooter, defender, or creator
(less than 3 assists per game).  The team will need someone other than
Felton that can create a shot, it just seems like Nic, Wes, Nolan, or Elliot should
get a shot to handle that role.  If players are going to be brought on board,
they should focus on the 4 and 5 spots...Carl Landry anyone?
