What does Patty Mill's NBA Future Hold

Stay connected for news and updates

Love him or hate him as we maybe draw closer to maybe another season, potentially the most contentious roster spot belongs to everyone's favourite bala Aussie, Vegimitey Mouse himself, Patty Mills. Possibly the first person in the History of the NBA where for what he lacks in ability short fall he makes up for in personality in a positive way. Potentially the best discussion point outside of whether or not he will be a blazer next season, is whether or not he will stick in the NBA.

My thoughts are he has probably done enough in his stint through most of the previous season to get a back up job on one of the developing teams, largely due to the fact that guys like him are good people to have around the locker room when you have an inexperienced roster he would likely help them Gel off the court and the fact that you can get offensive production out of him would be seen as a bonus. He would also be a viable 3rd option for a number of clubs who would come close to the cap as he has shown he can at least tread water should injuries hit an his minutes increase.

This could also not be relevant as it may be that management have decided that for those last few roster spot, Patty presents the best option for the reasons Ive stated above, he knows the system and he comes cheap.

I actually think a lot will rest on what the front office do with Roy. Hopefully this thread doesn't turn into a put down session on a bloke who for mine did the most he could with what he had, and he did it for the black and red.
