Time for Fans to Stand Up
Okay. That's it. I'm tired of getting screwed by whining zillionaires assaulting the people who make them rich. We fan's need to stand up and show we are actually the ones who pay these crybabies. I'm talking the owners AND the players. I think we should boycott the same number of games that are cancelled after the season starts. If they cancel 2 weeks we should stay away from the games en masse for 2 weeks after the "season" starts. If they cancel the whole season, well they might as well cancel 2 of them. And those of us who must go should refrain from purchasing ANYTHING on the premises. Eat a good meal beforehand and bring your own bottled water. And wear your Rasheed Wallace jersey just to show you didn't but a new one. And we should loudly and actively boycott all sponsors and make it known that is what we are doing. These guys make me sick. Mother Theresa never went on strike. Martin Luther King didn't whine. So you can dribble a basketball and are freakishly tall enough to tower over the rest of us. So you inherited enough money to buy a team and then toy with our kids' allegiance and emotions: all the while charging $7 for a warm flat beer. Big deal. In the end your fate will be just as cold as mine. Kiss whatever part of me you like. You're not better than me.

Why don't the disgruntled fans
start their own league?
It’s time to fight back, and this time… it’s personal.

I'm already working on starting my own league
Why hasn’t anyone sent me money yet? Just a little money, and no problem, poof, new league!
There are investors ready to help you EVERYWHERE
it shouldn’t be hard.
two things
1) why couldn’t this be added to the existing “boycott the NBA thread directly underneath this one?” it’s basically the same topic.
2) Good luck with that. Trying to corral millions of fans into some sort of fan boycott is a complete and utter waste of time that has zero point zero chance of success and can best be described as an exercise in futility.
"Well, you can always sell your team."
This is why
the NBA really doesnt give a *%#! (hoot) about the fans, they know that they can start the season whenever they want and the fans will line up at the drop of a hat. No way you can keep millions of fans away
