You would think that for a team that has been so beat up and gone through so much that we would have fallen apart by now. However I was just over on NBA.com and looking at the western conference standings, and was shocked to see how close we are to the teams ahead of us. With the way you hear people talk about our team you would think we were barley holding on to our 8th place spot, but from what I can tell I think we have the potential to pass a number of teams ahead of us. We currently are tied with the Spurs and the Mav's for the best record over the past 10 games, We have the best home record by percentages in the west and we are about to go into a long home stand. Is it just me or is there some real chance we could end up jumping a couple of teams over the next few weeks? I for one am optimistic and that isn't a word any blazer fan uses lightly these days.
