Portland Trail Blazers Owner Paul Allen's Helicopter Crashed, Allen Not Aboard, Co-Pilot Suffers 'Minor Injuries'

Pretty scary stuff. TMZ has video of Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen's wrecked helicopter after it crashed off of the coast of Argentina on Monday morning. Allen was not aboard the helicopter, which had a two-man crew, at the time of the crash. Both the Associated Press and Reuters confirm the story. Reuters reports that one of the co-pilots was injured and provides a few quotes... ----------------- "Paul landed in Ushuaia soon after the accident ... He was going to join up with the Octopus on a private vacation to explore Antarctica," spokesman David Postman said, referring to the $200 million Octopus yacht. ... "This was a close call," Postman said. "We're glad that there was no danger to guests or crew." ----------------- Update: The Portland Trail Blazers have confirmed that owner Paul Allen was not on board the chopper during the crash. The team says that only the two pilots were onboard, one of whom suffered "minor injuries."
