there has been a lot of discussion about who is untouchable on this roster. Mathews is often mentioned in that group and for good reason. He comes at a decent price, he is tough, he defends, and produces. I love the guy, but if we had to add one of our main contributer to a trade to get something great back( curry for example) I would choose mathews. I think his skills are the easiest to replicate. Remember, he is 25. Batum in contrast, is 21 and I believe won't realize his potential for another three or four years. I think Mathews is pretty close to his ceiling right now, but holds close to as much value as nic in a trade. He is still a good young building block, just with less upside, and would be a perfect addition to a contending team. If you where to add him to a package including Miller and priz, plus a draft pick or two, I think you could get something franchise changing in return. ( Granger, Curry, iggy, gasol, Beaubois) Plus other assets to make money match. I don't want to see him go, but  think sacrificing him leaves us with the best remaining core to build around. It would really open up our possibilities and hopefully land us a near all-star talent to put next to LA and Nic. what do ya think?
