I would think that Bird will be making deals, at the deadline
it will be interesting to see which players that Indy considers to be a part of their future core, and what happens to the others.
Ford, Dunleavy and Foster have ECs that could be flipped for assets
Portland has had interest in Hansbrough, in the past
KP has been advising Bird, and this could make it more (or less) likely that the Pacer’s GM will reach out to Cho
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

To be replaced by, uh, what's his name.
@johnhollinger Fun with Google: Try proving Frank Vogel’s existence via any story or link written earlier than today.
Wiggada Wiggada Zers!
It's odd Jim O'Brien would be fired and replaced with essentially a lesser version of himself, although ...
that’s pretty much what happened in Boston several years ago when O’Brien took over for his mentor, Rick Pitino, who headlines this pretty weak coaching tree. Other branches on this tree include Reggie Theus and Florida’s Billy Donovan — who NBA fans should remember from the time he declined an offer to coach the Orlando Magic — but I digress.
At any rate, though, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the remainder of the Indiana Pacers coaching staff blown up this off-season. To me, Vogel is most likely nothing more than a short-term stopgap.

Since he needs someone with Head Coaching experience
He should hire KP ……as coach

Motivation for them against us.
All we need now is a team who should of beaten us at home if it was for Nic catching fire, playing good to prove it was the coach and not the players.
