During Ben's chat the other day, he said something to the effect that based on what he knew about Roy the player and Roy the man...that he would come back and be a productive player...that he would basically re-invent himself. I asked Ben the following question (paraphrased): "Knowing what you know about Roy...what kind of player do you anticipate Roy morphing into? Ron Harper?"

The Ron Harper comment was a kinda glib throw away line...based on a guy that was a very athletic dude who had a terrible knee injury ...then came back and re-invented himself to become a productive part of 5 championship teams. That being said I am not sure if Roy can do the same things that Ron Harper did (Defense mainly). 

Because I also believe that Roy will retool his game to get the max out of his remaining talents (I just think he is that kinda dude), the question I posed to Ben remains....Who will Roy become? Who do you envision Roy morphing into?
