With all the rumors about Anthony Randolph going around, we picked up Chris Johnson. What do these have to do with each other? Well thats what i want to know. It seems like a good idea, in my opinion, to get Anthony Randolph if it's just for a first round pick, and it seems like the blazers have decent interest in him and have a good shot at getting him. Its my thought that we picked up Chis Johnson not only for some help in the paint, but is it possible that we also did this to see how Anthony Randolph would fit in our lineup since Chris Johnson is, for the most part, a very close comparison to Randolph, although Randolph is much better. So is it just me or does this seem like a way to basically test how Randolph would fit in our lineup if we ended up getting him later? 10 day trail of Anthony Randolph without having him on the team?

They are both: 6 ft 11in, 200-220lbs, lanky power-forward/centers, and decent/good shot blockers.
