I miss GO.
The Clippers did what we have not done in more than three seasons and counting-beat LeBron James. The Clippers not only beat LeBron. They beat the Heatles, the Super-Team. Guess that's what you get for having a freak of nature like Blake Griffin.
This makes me miss Greg Oden even more. He was a physical specimen. I'm probably asking for a miracle, but I hope he is at least half of what he could have been. If we had Greg Oden in 2009-2010 form, we would have punished Miami.

It's been nice to see him sit on the aisle behind the bench during home games
and even nicer for the local media to not bug him or make a big deal about his presence, for a change
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Maybe just me but he always seems to be scowling or close to it when the camera pans over to him.
I have yet to see him look like he is having a good time….
Can you blame the big guy?
After what he’s gone through, I don’t doubt he really wants to be out there when he’s sitting on the sideline watching the games
No not really but he is getting paid mucho bucks to do it so he could at least pretend.
I do feel sorry for him though. The game the other night I was watching the knicks feed and when the garden showed him on the jumbo tron the knick announcers mentioned the cheers from the audience, but added there were plenty of boo’s also. Wish the fans wouldn’t do stuff like that. No matter what your opinion of Greg none of this is his fault….
I was at the Heat game, along with some friends.
We had a great time, laughing and joking, cheering, etc…
The next day, another friend of mine told me that she was at the game as well, but she was sitting directly across the arena from me and my other friends. She commented that we didn’t look like we were having much fun whenever she would look over to us, because we were just standing there, and not dancing around and acting crazy.
Perception…We had a great time, even though that during the few times she looked across the way and saw us just standing there we appeared to be uninterested.

Are you saying Greg is at the game having a great time, laughing and joking and cheering?
Shouldn’t he be rehabbing? what a total bust, doesn’t even put the work in to be great.

Imagine if Greg was caught on camera yucking it up
while the Knicks were pulling away in the 4th quarter the other night
or while LeBron was taunting the home crowd in OT the game before
or (horrors!) if he stayed back in the tunnel during the singing of the anthem?
Sometimes it’s safer just to sit there quietly with a Bayless face

I miss anyone who can rebound in that second unit.....
Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company.
I miss Greg and Brandon
I know it’s pointless to talk about what-ifs, but I often wonder where we would be with a fully healthy Brandon and Greg, with Lamarcus dominating (though obviously he wouldn’t have come this far, due to limited shots, different, role, etc., but this is my fantasy and it is more fun than the real situation), Nic coming along, Wesley being awesome off the bench, and Andre and Joel on the trading block for our PGOTF.
Sort of reminds me of how fun it was to talk about the Blazers’ future over the summer, anticipating the return of Greg and the dominance of LMA and Brandon.
Also reminds me of this quotation from South Park:
Chef: Well, look at it this way: if you want to make a baby cry, first you give it a lollipop. Then you take it away. If you never give it a lollipop to begin with, then you would have nothin’ to cry about. That’s like God, who gives us life and love and help just so that he can tear it all away and make us cry, so he can drink the sweet milk of our tears. You see, it’s our tears, Stan, that give God his great power.

As a huge Oden fan
It hurts watching Blake dunk on everybody. It hurts seeing Durant become the new posterchild of the NBA. It hurts seeing all of that talent on the sideline. There is no doubt in my mind that a healthy Greg Oden puts as favorites in the West. The Oden/new Aldridge combo would have been a sight to behold. Unfortunately, we can only dream of such things right now and must hope they both are on the court at the same time come the fall.
