from ESPN's play by play:
Rudy missed a layup, turnover, and a missed 3 in the 1st 3 minutes of the game, then disappeared (at least from the play by play) for the rest of the 1st quarter… not looking too good for our boy… but the box score does have him with 1 steal…

yup. He better turn it on in the 2nd half.

Rudy showed his utter lack of getting to the rim without an allyoop by getting flashy there at end
of the 1st half that almost resulted in a turnover when he coulda taken it to the rim and tried at least to get fouled. Im starting to see what an effect from the Ariza contact and injury has turned Rudy into a wussy really.
Idk about that..
if you read Ben’s in-depth look of Rudy’s performance earlier in the week there is a pretty nice drive against several defenders where he dunks

Ive watched the games and they have been off of alleyoops..I have yet to see Rudy
go hard to the hoop and draw contact he seems to be fading away and going for rebounds which I will say he is doing a good job at getting offensive and defensive rebounds and leads the team over Gasol in rebounding

but I agree to some extent
He hasn’t at all looked aggressive in this game

I'm rooting for spain in this one.
But Rudy needs to play better… C’mon man, you’re not helping your case any!
Spains offense looks really discombobulated and Rubio is trying to do too much.
They arent posting up Gasol enough and getting Baby Shaq in foul trouble and kicking out to the shooters at all
rudy with a couple layup/dunks!

Greece havent done anything other than make 3s to stay in the game
any other type of offense has been a failure.
52-51 Spain
End Q3
WITH ODEN ON OUR SIDE
The smaller 3 line makes the zone so much more effective
need an elite dribbler to penetrate that conjested lane

Does Orlando still hold Fran Vazquez's rights after they drafted him in the 1st round in 2005 with the 11th pick?
id but he just had a sick alleyoop

Told ya...
Shame (a) he’s under contract, (b) he’s said he’s not interested in the NBA, and © he missed those free throws
Rudy makes his return..
let’s see how he finishes this game.

Greece is just driving and looking to pass to the perimeter.
They’re not even trying to score off the drive so they kind of drive, jump, look around wildly while they’re jumping, and then make a weak pass to someone.
"Rudy is not everyday a shooter," Fernandez said. "He's defense. He's passes. He's assists."

Strong game by Rudy in the second half, and Rubio did a lot of good things although he didn't score much

Llull and Lopez looked a lot less scrub-like this game, too
But once again, Claver doesn’t see a minute.
He should get together with Danny Granger and commiserate.
